Latter-day Saints for Biden Harris: Statement on Final Presidential Debate

On character and policy, former Vice President Biden demonstrated again tonight that he’s the one prepared to lead our country.

Joe Biden has centered his campaign on unifying the country. When asked at the close of the debate what he would say at his inauguration to those who had not voted for him, he replied in part: “I’m an American president. I represent all of you, whether you voted for me or against me, and I’m going to make sure you’re represented.”

He understands the challenges we face. He has detailed plans for addressing the pandemic, for improving families’ access to healthcare, for helping more of us achieve self-reliance, to tackle the legacies of systemic racism, to achieve a just and humane immigration system that welcomes refugees, and to take on the challenge presented by climate change.
