This morning, Senator Kamala Harris published an op-ed in the Deseret News about how faith values bring us together (read it here). This afternoon, the New York Times published a poll showing the Biden-Harris ticket leading in Arizona by a significant margin. We at Latter-day Saints for Biden Harris released the following statement to the press:

“We appreciate the amount of time Senator Harris is spending in Utah, her visits to historic and sacred sites connected to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her discussing her own faith in the Deseret News. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are prepared to unify our nation to address the challenges we face, including an out-of-control pandemic, the racism that was a key theme of this past weekend’s General Conference, and an economy on the brink. As polling shows, Latter-day Saint voters are responding to their preparation, their spirit of unity, and their consistent respect for communities of faith, including our own. The Biden-Haris ticket now has significant momentum in Arizona and is on track to win the largest share of the Latter-day Saint vote won by Democrats in at least 30 years.”
